Bastantes fotos para algo tan sencillo, ¿no creéis? Es lo que pasa cuando sólo puedes hacer fotos los fines de semana, que te descontrolas. De todas formas esta es mi particular oda al buen tiempo y a la ropa de primavera. Ya os dije que compré en Zara estos pantalones junto con la blusa naranja que os enseñé el otro día, y estoy contentísima de meter algo de flúor en mi armario. 

Ayer fuimos a comer al Gallinero de Sandra (pincha aquí) para celebrar el cumple de mi hermano y luego estuvimos por ahí aprovechando el sol. Hoy es fiesta en Andalucía, así que tengo toda la tarde por delante para salir por ahí a comentar los Oscars: me alegré mucho por Natalie Portman, aunque no me gustó mucho Black Swan, creo que es la mejor interpretación que ha hecho.

Por cierto, ¿os gusta el efecto de las últimas fotos? Estamos intentando experimentar un poco...

English version: Quite a lot of pictures for such a simple outfit, don't you think? This is what happens when you can only take photos at the weekend, you lose control. Anyway this is my particular ode to the nice weather and spring clothes. I told you I bought this pants at Zara, and the orange blouse I showed you the other day, and I'm very happy to put some fluorine in my closet. 

Yesterday we had lunch at Gallinero de Sandra (click here) to celebrate my brother's birthday, and then we took advantage of the sun. Today is holiday in Andalucía, so I have the rest of the day free, to go out and chat about Oscars: I'm happy Natalie Portman won best actress's, even though I didn't like Black Swan too much, I think she was at her best.

Btw, do you like the effect of the las photos? We're trying to experiment a bit...

Ocumare

¡Ajá!, creo haber captado vuestra atención con la primera foto. Intento repartir las entradas a lo largo de la semana ordenadamente y por eso estoy desde el sábado en estado de ansiedad por enseñaros esto. Por la mañana había estado buscando chocolaterías en Sevilla y casi de casualidad fuimos a visitar Ocumare, porque no la conocíamos. Ahora me siento como si hubiese entrado en otra dimensión. Olvidad el Ferrero Roché, la tableta Nestlé, Cadbury o incluso la taza de chocolate caliente (podéis volver a recordar cuando cerréis la ventana): esto es chocolate de verdad. Es un local muy pequeño escondido en calle Carmen (y muy bonito también) en el que se toman todo el tiempo que haga falta para explicarte qué se hace allí. Me gustaría poder contarlo todo pero me perdería la merienda, así que simplemente os digo que José (el artista detrás de todo esto) es el hombre que más sabe de chocolate del mundo (hasta ahora creía que yo era esa persona pero después de ir a Ocumare he abandonado humildemente esa idea.). Nunca había probado una mousse de chocolate como la de la primera foto, la espuma de porcelana.

English version: Aha!, I think I've captured your interest with the first pic. I try to tidily distribute posts along the week, and that's why I was suffering anxiety since last saturday for sharing this with you. Saturday morning I had been looking for chocolate stores in Seville and by chance we went to visit Ocumare, a place we didn't know. Now I feel like I've entered the fourth dimension. Forget about Ferrero Roché, Nestlé, Cadbury or even hot chocolate (you can remember again once you close this window): this is real chocolate. It's a small place, hidden in Carmen street (and very nice too) in which they will take the time to explain everything about what they do. I wish I could tell you everything but I would miss the 6pm snack, so I'll simply say that José (the artist behind) is the man who knows most about chocolate (I thought that person was me, but after visiting Ocumare I've humbly abandoned that idea). I had never ever tried a mousse like the one of the first pic, called porcelain foam.

Clockwork Orange

No tiene nada que ver ni con la película ni con el significado original del título de la peli ('orange' es en realidad 'ourang', que por lo visto significa 'persona' en malasio). Mi novio va a entrar en furia asesina cuando vea que he puesto fotos que a él no le gustan, y es verdad que el escenario no era el mejor, pero con la lluvia intermitente, ¿qué más se puede hacer? Compré hace un par de semanas en Zara esta blusa naranja y unos pantalones también naranjas, pero, no sé por qué, no me lo he puesto hasta ahora. Sé que no lo veis, pero llevaba tacones negros, leggins negros y cazadora de piel negro, con lo cual el color se hacía muy llamativo, y en las fotos he intentado que pareciesen lo más tétricas posible (ayuda bastante mi tez casi transparente, la verdad).

Vengo con muchas cosas esta semana, por ahora no os puedo decir nada, ¡pero ya queda poquito! Tened buena semana.

English version: It has nothing to do with the movie or with the meaning of the name's movie ('orange' actually refers to 'ourang', which means 'person' in Malaysian). My bf is going to freak out when he sees I've chosen the photos he doesn't like at all, and though it's true the scenario is not the nicest, what else can you do with intermittent rain? I got this orange blouse and also orange pants in Zara a couple weeks ago, but I haven't worn the blouse till this weekend, and I don't know why. I know you can't see it, but I was wearing black heels, black leggins and black leather jacket, so the color was really eye-catching, and I've tried to make the pictures look gloomy (actually, the almost transparent skin helps a lot). I have a lot of news this week, I can't say a word now, but I'll tell you everything very soon! Have a nice week.

Me he levantado a la una de la tarde con el pelo formando una masa informe, afónica y un dolor de espalda brutal. Ha merecido la pena de todas formas, hacía eones que no salía con mis amigas de fiesta y por fin ayer me tiré doce horas en la calle (no penséis en nada lamentable, solo que hicimos mil cosas como estar al sol, ir de compras, entrar en bares, y luego copas y baile). Desde luego que el abrigo de yeti y la ropa de dos tallas más no es lo que me hubiese puesto si hubiese sabido lo que me esperaba, pero por ingenuidad aún sigo creyendo que quedar con Rocío y Cris (por cierto, ¡gracias por tomarme estas fotos!) no es destructivo. No me quejo, repetiría hoy también.

Sé que estoy siendo muy negligente con vosotros y no os he contestado últimamente, prometo que esta tarde lo haré.

English version: Woke up at 1pm with my hair making a distorted dough, no voice at all and a savage backache. It was worth it anyway, it's been eons since the last time I went out with my girlfriends and, at last, yesterday I spent 12 hours out (don't think I'm deplorable, we did some shopping, went to different bars, pubs,...). Of course the yeti's coat and my two-sizes-bigger-clothes wasn't the best combo if I had known what was about to come, but my naivety keeps me thinking going out with Rocío and Cris (btw, thank you for  these pics) it's not destructive. I don't complain, I would do it again this very day.

I'm being very negligent with you and haven't replied comments lately, I promise I'll do it today.

Some basics

Ayer recibí un email muy halagador de una chica llamada Clara en el que me preguntaba cómo me cuidaba yo la piel y si gastaba mucho dinero en cremas y maquillaje. Aunque me encantó su email no pude evitar ponerle cara de sorpresa a la pantalla cuando me preguntó cómo conseguía "tener la piel tan perfecta". Mi piel es un desastre. No lo digo ni por humildad ni como excusa, es la pura verdad: aparte de tener vitíligo, rojeces y sequedad continua tengo una severa adicción al chocolate (con los consiguientes granitos, y quien diga que esos factores no están relacionados, ¡miente!). Mi piel es lo más lejano a un cutis perfecto, pero sí es verdad que me la cuido un montón, que he probado muchísimos productos (algunos realmente caros) y por eso ya soy fiel a dos o tres marcas.

Mis cuidados de belleza son bastante reducidos día a día: me lavo la cara con un jabón OTC, me pongo hidratante y contorno de ojos (de la marca Atashi, me la recomendó la farmacéutica por sus efectos calmantes y ahora no uso otra cosa), me maquillo con un lápiz negro, máscara, un poco de colorete o iluminador y barra de labios, y procuro llevar las uñas pintadas. Me encantan los tratamientos y las sesiones de maquillaje, pero, excepciones aparte, soy partidaria del "menos es más". 

English version: I received and email yesterday from a girl called Clara, in which she asked me how I take care after my skin and also if I spend a lot of money on beauty products. I loved her email but I coudn't help a surprise gesture when she asked me how did I get such a perfect skin. My skin is a disaster. It's not humility or excuse, it's the gospel truth: aside from vitiligo, redness and dry skin, I have a severe chocolate addiction (and of course I get spots, and you lie if you say those factors aren't related!). My skin is far away from perfection, but I take care of it, I've tried dozens of products (some were really expensive) and that's why now I'm loyal to two or three brands.

My beauty care is slight in the day-a-day: I use an OTC cleanser, moisturizing cream and eye cream (they're Atashi, I got this brand recommended by the pharmacist because of its calming effect and now I can't live without it), black khol, mascara, a bit of blush or shimmer and lipstick, and I try to have my nails painted. I love beauty treatments and make-up sessions, but, exceptions aside, I'm a supporter of "less is more".

Zara Spring Summer Campaign

Así que por fin tenemos la nueva colección de Zara. Desde que empezaron las rebajas me pasaba los ratos muertos visitando la web una y otra vez por si llegaba la nueva campaña. Precisamente el martes fui a una tienda a ver qué había por allí porque no podía aguantar más y me llevé algunas cosas. Me gusta la línea que sigue Zara desde hace unos años, cada vez más limpia, más atenta a la pasarela, más sobria y más elegante. El color me recuerda mucho a la colección de Jil Sander para esta temporada? Por algo ha sido una de las colecciones más aclamadas...

English version: So the new Zara collection is finally here. Since sales started I spent my silly hours visiting the web constantly, just to check if the new campaign was out. Precisely last tuesday I went to a Zara store to see the new items personally, I couldn't wait anymore, and got some things. I really like the line Zara is following lately, it gets cleaner, it is more attentive to the catwalk, it's sober and more elegant. Colors reminds me of the Jil Sander's collection for spring/summer, not in vain one of the most applauded collections...

Tapas in Arenero + Details + Portraits

Me olvidé de poner estas fotos del domingo, cuando salimos a pasear, aprovechar el sol, tomar unas tapas, hacer fotos,... Las cosas que nos gusta hacer un domingo. Arenero es un bar de tapas que está en la zona de la catedral, y mi descubrimiento favorito del año pasado: el local está decorado con cuadros del dueño, tienen tapas más clásicas y tapas de taller, más arriesgadas pero buenísimas siempre. En especial me encanta el salmorejo de remolacha con helado de queso de cabra, para mí es un plato-antojo (te apetece concretamente ese plato en los momentos más insospechados). También me pirra la hamburguesita de buey en pan de ketchup, últimamente te ponen mini-hamburguesas hasta en la sopa, pero ésta es de las pocas de las que me acuerdo.

En cuanto a los detalles, sabéis que me encantan las fotos centradas en los detalles de la ropa o complementos. Ésta es mi cartera favorita (Fun&Basics), no va con muchas cosas y es un poco estridente, pero me la pongo siempre que puedo.

¿Y los retratos? Pues bueno, algunos resultados de nuestra sesión. Me hace gracia ver cómo cambia la luz y yo misma conforme va avanzando el día (sobre todo por la cara de recién levantada). Un día debería hacer un post con las fotos que echaría gustosa a la hoguera y no sé por qué guardo...
English version: I forgot to post these pics took on Sunday, when we went out, to take advantage of the sun, eat tapas, take pictures,... The kind of things we like to do on sunday. Arenero is a tapas restaurant located in the cathedral area, and also my favorite discovery of the past year: the place is decorated with paintings by the owner, they have classic tapas and "workshop tapas", maybe more hazardous but always great. I specially like beetroot salmorejo with goat cheese ice-cream, it's a craving-dish of mine (I mean I crave for that specific dish in the most unforeseen moments). I also love the ox mini-burguer with ketchup bun, lastly you can find mini-burguers everywhere, but this is one I have in mind.
About the details, you know I love photos focused on clothing details or accesories. This is my fav wallet (Fun&Basics), it doesn't match many things and it's maybe a bit shrill, but I wear it as often as I can.
Portraits? Well, the results of our photoshoot. It's funny to see how light changes, and me myself, as the day goes by (specially because of the just-awaked-face). I should sometime post all those pics I would gladly burn at the stake and I dont' know why I keep...
