Después de dos fines de semana lluviosos, el domingo ha amanecido radiante y mi novio y yo hemos salido por la mañana a la calle con la intención de no volver a meternos en casa hasta el partido de Federer y Nadal. Hemos pasado casi seis horas recorriendo la ciudad y haciendo fotos en distintos lugares, distintos momentos y con distintas luces. Cuando he llegado a casa tenía cerca de 400 fotos, y había tantas que me servían para hacer un post que he decidido hacer una ensalada con todas ellas, de modo que parecen de días distintos. 

Este vestido es una de mis grandes adquisiciones de la temporada, si bien no es el vestido de mis sueños, es lo más cómodo, calentito y sencillo para pasar el día entero haciendo cosas. 

Y a mi amor, muchísimas gracias, otra vez, por enseñarme a hacer fotos y por la paciencia que tiene al hacérmelas, sin él el blog sería tan cutre como cuando lo empecé.

English version: After two rainy weekends, today sunday woke up brilliant, and bf and I have gone out in the morning with the intention of not coming back home until the Federer-Nadal match.

We've spent almost six hours scouring the city and taking pictures in different places, moments and with different shades of light. When I arrived home I had around 400 photos, and there were so many I could use to make a post that I've decided to make a salad with all them, so it seems they're from different days.

This dress is one of my great purchases of the season, it may not be the dress of my dreams, but it's the comfiest, warmest and simplest to spend the whole day doing things.

And to my love, thank you so much, again, for teaching me photography and for your patience taking me photos, without him the blog would be as shabby as it was when I started.

The ZARA dress

Últimamente me gusta absolutamente todo lo que veo en Zara. Todo. Como la mayoría de la gente en España, recurro a Inditex a la hora de comprar ropa, porque, seamos justos, entre lo que me gusta es lo más barato y lo más cómodo. A veces me fuerzo para buscar en otras tiendas y diversificar un poco, y eso es lo que pretendía hacer para las fiestas este año: quería buscar un par de vestidos y ya estaba haciéndome una lista con todas las marcas que iba a mirar cuando salió el último look book de Zara y me enamoré. A parte de los leggins (otros más para mi colección) y la levita de terciopelo, he caído rendida ante este vestido. Me lo he probado y me queda bien, y ahora la duda es: ¿me lo compro o reniego de Zara y del vestido y sigo mi política de diversificación?

English version: Lastly I like absolutely everything I see in Zara. Everything. As most people in Spain, I turn to Inditex when it's about clothes, because, let's be fair, I can find things I really like at a good price and there are stores everywhere. Sometimes I force myself to look  in other stores and diversify, and that's what I was trying to do for Christmas: I wanted to purchase a couple nice dresses and was already making a stores-to-look-in list when the last Zara lookbook came out and I fell in love. Leggins and velvet frock coat aside, I have been captivated by this dress. I went to Zara yesterday and it fits me perfectly, and now the doubt is: should I get it or should I renounce to Zara and keep on with my diversification policy?

Vienna 1900

Estuve de viaje en Viena con mis padres hace unos tres años y recuerdo que mi mayor ilusión entonces era contemplar en persona El Beso de Gustav Klimt. Nunca os he hablado de ello, pero Klimt es mi pintor favorito (a lo mejor os habéis dado cuenta de que en algunas fotos detrás de mí aparecen láminas suyas), porque aunque no tenga la genialidad de Picasso o Goya, en mi opinión, me evoca muchas más cosas que ningún otro, y cuando miro sus pinturas me parece estar en sueño. Sin embargo, en Viena descubrí mucha más pintura: disfruté de una de las mejores colecciones de pintura contemporánea que he visto en el museo Albertina, y me encontré por primera vez con Schiele. Me quedé impresionada por la complejidad de las pinturas de un talento de poco más de veinte años. Compré un par de libros suyos y desde entonces no he dejado de leer sobre él y de colgar láminas de sus cuadros en mi cuarto. Ahora la Fundación Beyeler (en Basilea) ha organizado una exposición sobre los grandes pintores austriacos del modernismo vienés (Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka y Kunst), sobre sus cuadros más eróticos. A menos que ocurra un milagro yo no voy a poder ir, pero si alguien tiene la oportunidad (¡hasta el 16 de enero!), que no deje de aprovecharla.
English version: I visited Vienna with my parents three years ago and I remember my biggest wish was to contemplate in person The Kiss by Gustav Klimt. I have never told you, but Klimt is my favorite painter (maybe you have noticed some Klimt prints beside me in photos), because, although he's not as brillilant, in my opinion, as Picasso or Goya, his paintings make me evoke so much, more than any other, and contemplating his paintings I feel like I am in a dream. However, I discovered much more art in Vienna: I enjoyed one of the best contemporary art exhibitions I've seen in the Albertina Museum, and I met, for the first time, Schiele. It shocked me to see the complexity of the paintings of a twentysomething talent. I got a couple books about Schiele and since then I have been reading about him and hanging prints in my bedroom. Now, Fondation Beyeler (Basilea) has launched an exhibition about the great austrian painters of the Vienesse Modernism (Klimst, Schiele, Kokoschka and Kunst), with their most erotic paintings. It would be a wonder I could go, but if somebody has the opportunity (till january 16th!), don't miss it.

Estos últimos días he dejado el blog un poco abandonado, en parte porque tenía mil cosas que hacer y en parte porque llovía en los únicos ratos en que podía salir a hacer fotos. Traigo muy pocas fotos porque, cómo no, se puso a llover a los cinco minutos de sacar la cámara. 

Desde hace dos semanas mi uniforme ha sido: leggins negros, camisetas amplias oscuras, collares plateados, tacones negros,... De hecho ahora estoy buscando el labial negro perfecto (curiosamente no lo encuentro en MAC), pero mientras tanto el gloss de Maléfica de la colección de Disney y MAC me saca del apuro. Me encanta el disfraz de bruja y gorila blanco.

Este fin de semana he hecho un viaje relámpago a Madrid para celebrar el aniversario de boda de mis abuelos (55 años casados y felices, para los incrédulos), y aproveché para ver a mi preciosísima amiga Julia, que está viviendo allí este año. Este curso, con mis mejores amigas fuera de Sevilla, me siento más perdida que de costumbre, y me ha venido genial pasar un rato charlando con Julia, porque necesitaba verla. 

English version: I've neglected the blog a little these days, partly because I had loads of things to do, partly because    it rained when I had some time to go out and take pictures. That's why I'm bringing just a few photos today, because, typical, it started to rain after 5 min with the camera.

The last two weeks my uniform has been: black leggins, large black tees, silver necklaces, black heels,... Actually now I'm looking for the perfect black lipstick (strangely I don't find it in the MAC's collection), but in the meantime the Maleficent gloss from the Disney&MAC collection gets me off the hook. I love the witch-and-white-gorilla costume.

This weekend I made a quick trip to Madrid to celebrate my grandparents's wedding anniversary (55 years married and happy, for the skeptics), and I took advantage of the trip to see my beautiful friend Julia, who's living in Madrid now. This year, with my best friends out, I feel even more confused than usual, and spending some time just chatting with Julia has been like a medicine, because I really needed to see her.

Mi mayor inspiración en moda son los y las bloggers de todo el mundo, que son capaces de hacer del día a día un verdadero desfile. Como sabéis, ordeno en carpetas las fotos que más me gustan de otros blogs, y aunque algunas veces veo cosas que son imposibles de copiar, otras veces encuentro estilismos tan sencillos y bonitos que no me resulta difícil construir con piezas de mi armario. Esta semana he visto dos ejemplos claros de lo que digo en el blog de Aimee y en el de Joanna, y con Polyvore he construido lo que llevan puesto,... Más o menos.

English version: My biggest fashion inspiration comes from bloggers from all over the world, people who's able to make from day a day life a real catwalk. As you know, I save in different folders pictures from other blogs, and although sometimes I like outfits which are impossible to imitate, other times I find such simple and beautiful outfits that I can easily copy them with items from my closet. This week I've seen two clear examples of this in Aimee's blog and Joanna's blog, and with Polyvore I've made up what they're wearing,... More or less.

Bimba&Lola bracelets

 

Todas las semanas paso por Bimba&Lola para ver si han llegado ya estas dos pulseras. No ha habido suerte. He preguntado si se sabe cuándo llegarán pero lo único que me dicen es que se supone que llegarán más adelante. Además, la web de Bimba&Lola lleva con el cartel de "shop online coming soon" un montón de tiempo, pero no sé la fecha determinada en que por fin se pueda comprar por internet.

English version: Every week I visit Bimba&Lola looking for these two bracelets. No luck. I've asked the girls if they know when the bracelets will arrive, but the only information I get is that they're supposed to come later. Moreover, the Bimba&Lola web has been proclaiming "shop online coming soon" for months, but I still don't know when I'll be able to finally shop online.

This is why everybody loves ACNE

Ejemplos como éste son perfectos para explicar por qué la moda escandinava (y eso incluye diseñadores, marcas, bloggers), y en especial ACNE, es ahora mismo el referente. Hay que ser un visionario para crear estilismos tan armónicos como estos, pero las piezas de ACNE facilitan mucho esa tarea. 

La chaqueta de la primera foto aparece en mis sueños desde que la vi.

English version: Examples like these are perfect to explain why scandinavian fashion (and that includes designers, brands, bloggers), specially ACNE, is nowadays the referent. Only a visionary would create such harmonious outfits, but ACNE garments make the job much easier.

The jacket of the first pic has been appearing in my dreams since I first saw it.

Raquel and cuties

Raquel (mi hermana) hizo una excursión a unas bodegas el otro día y se encontró con estas monadas por el camino. Las fotos son tan tiernas que no me he podido resistir a ponerlas en el blog. No sé si os gustan los animales, pero a mí me entra amor maternal cuando veo un burrito.

English version: Raquel (my sister) went on an excursion to a winery and she found these cuties in the way. The photos are so tender that I couldn't help posting them. I don't know if you like animals, but I feel some kind of maternal instinct when I see donkeys.

Últimamente he estado metiendo las narices en toda revista de decoración que se me ponía a tiro. Siempre me ha gustado el diseño y la arquitectura, sobre todo gracias a mi tío, y he pensado que podía compartir esa afición con vosotros, sobre todo porque, aunque yo no entienda mucho del tema, creo que a todo el mundo le gusta mirar fotos de espacios agradables, porque a todos nos gusta estar en sitios bellos. Así que he creado una nueva carpeta sobre diseño de interiores y decoración, y aquí tenéis la primera muestra de mis búsquedas. Espero que os guste.
¡Ah! Casi se me olvida... Acabo de comprar billetes para Palma de Mallorca, para pasar allí el fin de año, agradeceré eternamente cualquier consejo o indicación sobre sitios que visitar, hoteles, restaurantes, bares, pubs, playas,... ¡Lo que sea!

English version: Lastly I've been poking my nose into every decoration magazine I can grab. I've always loved interior design and architecture, thanks to my uncle, and I was thinking I could share this love with you, specially because,although I'm not an expert at all, I think everybody likes looking photos of nice spaces, because we all like to be in beautiful places. That's why I've created a new folder, this time about interior design and decoration, and this is the first sample of my research. Hope you like it.
Almost forget... I've just purchased flight tickets to Palma de Mallorca, New Year's, and I will be eternally thankful if you can give me any suggestion about places-to-visit, hotels, restaurants, pubs, beaches,... whatever!
